Harrington Gathering - June 10th 2007
This was the fifth rally specifically for vehicles produced by Thomas Harrington Coachworks of Hove, Sussex. As usual the venue was Amberley Industrial Museum in Sussex which has excellent public facilities for hosting such an event. Although Harringtons closed down in 1966, there are a considerable number of former employees still living in the area and locating the rally at Amberley means that some are able to visit, renew old acquaintances and generally have their memories tested by the owners of the preserved vehicles on display.
Thanks must go to David Hurley for being the prime mover in organising the rallies, though I am sure he would also like credit to go to the helpers drawn from family and friends as well as the staff at Amberley Museum.
